Laser cutting applications in the home appliance industry
Laser cutting machines are primarily used in the electrical appliance industry for cutting thin steel sheet parts in the exterior sheet metal parts and the assembly of complete electrical components. Currently, many electrical appliance factories have adopted this new technology, resulting in improved product quality, reduced production costs, reduced labor intensity, and improved traditional sheet metal processing techniques, leading to significant production benefits. In electrical products, sheet metal parts account for nearly 30% of all product parts. Traditional processes such as blanking, corner cutting, hole drilling, and edge trimming are outdated and directly affect product quality and production costs.
Laser cutting offers higher cutting precision, lower roughness, higher material utilization, and higher production efficiency. Especially in the field of precision cutting, it has unparalleled advantages over traditional cutting. Laser cutting focuses energy into a tiny space, using high-density energy for non-contact, high-speed, and high-precision cutting. In the electrical appliance manufacturing process, sheet metal parts are numerous and complex in shape, making the process difficult. A large number of tooling and molds are needed to ensure processing quality. Laser cutting technology can effectively solve the above problems in the electrical appliance industry. It also plays an important role and has great value in improving the processing quality of workpieces, saving processing steps and costs, shortening the product manufacturing cycle, reducing labor and processing costs, and significantly improving processing efficiency.
