Applications of laser cutting in the decoration industry
Stainless steel, with its strong corrosion resistance, high mechanical properties, durable and colorfast surface, and color variation depending on the angle of light, is widely used in the decoration engineering industry. For example, it is used in the decoration of various clubs and public leisure venues as a material for curtain walls, lobby walls, elevator decorations, signs, and reception screens. However, turning stainless steel sheets into finished products is a complex technical process requiring many steps, including cutting, bending, and welding. Cutting is a crucial step; while traditional methods exist, they are inefficient, produce poor quality results, and rarely meet the demands of mass production.
Currently, laser cutting machines, with their high beam quality, high precision, narrow kerf, smooth cut surface, and ability to cut arbitrary shapes, are widely used in the metal processing industry, including the decoration engineering sector. Laser cutting systems are constantly being improved with advanced technologies and information technology, representing another revolution in traditional mechanical manufacturing and significantly boosting the stainless steel decoration engineering industry. As market competition intensifies, this technology will play an increasingly important role and bring huge economic benefits.
