Nowadays handheld fiber laser welding machine is quite popular in laser market. It can weld stainless steel, mild steel, carbon steel, aluminium sheet, iron plates, brass, steel, galvanized sheet and plates, other sheet metals and metal tubes. 1. Is the welding machine easy to operate?

Yes. The operating syetem can be set in English. And you just need to set some different parameters on the screen. There’s no problem to learn how to use it in few hours.

2. Does the machine need auxiliary gas?

Yes, Nitrogen (N2) or Argon both are OK. But for materials easy to be oxidized, Argon is better.

The gas can isolate the air from the welding plate to prevent reaction with the air. So the welding surface of the metal plate will be white and beautiful. The gas also can protect the lens from welding dust.

3.Does the machine have quick wear parts?
Yes, protective lens (8usd/piece).
With auto wire feeder, it takes about 7 days to replace the protective lens.
Without auto wire feeder, it takes 4-7 days to replace the protective lens.
