Compared with other cutting equipment, the running cost of fiber laser cutter should be the lowest. The running cost fiber laser cutting machine includes 3 parts: electricity, auxiliary gas and spare parts.

1. Electricity
For example:

(1)2KW 1530H model fiber laser cutter rated power is about 22KW.
Real machine running cost occupies 60%~70% of whole power, so the real electric power cost is 13.2-15.4KW per hour.
It will cost about 105.6 to 123.2 KWH if working 8 hours per day.

(2)6KW 2560G model fiber laser cutter rated power is about 52KW.
Real machine running cost occupies 60%~70% of whole power, so the real electric power cost is 31.2-36.4KW per hour.
It will cost about 249.6 to 291.2 KWH if working 8 hours per day.

2. Auxiliary gas consumption
One gas tank is 40L in China.

1) Nitrogen consumption is the same for stainless steel and aluminum of different thickness. Its consumption of continue cutting is about 20~30min/tank
2) Oxygen consumption is the same for stainless steel and aluminum.
The thicker carbon steel, the less gas consumption.
For example, gas consumption for cutting 1mm carbon steel is about 50~60min/tank.
Gas consumption for cutting 10mm carbon steel is about several hours/tank.

We recommend you use liquid gas, it costs much lower. Most of our clients use it.

3. Quick wear parts
Main quick wear parts include nozzle and protective lens.
First year their consumption is about 20~30 pieces, but cost will decline later.
