About the stainless steel cutter-Bunny
Tips for laser cutting: Focus, speed and power adjustment
The focus adjustment allows us to alter the focal length of the laser cutting head to cut metal plates of different thicknesses.
Stainless steel :
1. If the focus increase, the cutting surface will become brighter
2. If the focus is reduced, the cutting surface will be rougher
3. Hard burrs may appear on the bottom surface of the plate because: the focus is too high, the speed is too low or the pressure is too low.
4. Soft burrs may appear on the bottom surface of the plate because: the focus is too low, the speed is too high, the pressure is too low or the power is too high.
5. If the plate cannot be cut completely, it may be because: the focus is not at the correct height, the laser power is too low or the speed is too high.
Carbon Steel:
1. Hard burrs may appear on the bottom surface of the plate because: the focus is too low, the speed is too fast or the pressure and power are too small
2. If the cutting surface is rough it may be because: the focus is too high, the pressure and power are too high. It may also be because the materials are defective.
