Good cutting quality. You can get quite well cutting quality only by one time cutting. Because of the small laser spot and the high energy density. The kerf of the laser cutting generally be 0.1-0.2 milometer. Width of the heat effective area is small.  Cutting geometry is good. The cross section of the kerf is more regular and rectangular. The cutting surface of laser cutting has no burrs. The surface roughness R can generally reach more than 12.5um. Laser cutting is even used as the last processing step. Generally, you can weld directly without further processing after laser cutting as the good cutting surface, or you can use the components directly.

Fast cutting speed. Laser cutting speed is fast. For example, 2 kilowatt, 8 milometer thick carbon steel cutting speed is 1.6 meters/minute. 2 milometer thick stainless steel cutting speed is 3.5 meters/minute. When laser cutting, the heat effective area of the work piece is small. The deformation is extremely small. No need fix by clamp device, so can save the clamp device, also can save the clamping time.

Material can be cut ranges width. Compared to flame cutting and plasma cutting, the material types that laser cutting can cut ranges width. Include metal, non-metal, metal based and non-metal based composite material and so on.

Suitable for big work piece processing. The mold manufacturing fee of the big work piece is high. Laser cutting don’t need any mold. Besides, laser cutting can avoid the slump formed when the material is punched and sheared, which can greatly reduce company’s production cost.

Clean, safe, no-pollution. The laser cutting process has low noise, low vibration and no pollution, which greatly improves the working environment of the operator.
