Many clients are interested in marking colors on stainless steel. We always said it need mopa laser.But why? In fact, MOPA  laser is one of fiber laser, but its Pulse width and Frequency are adjustable.So it can mark different colors on stainless steel.

Fourthly,  more flexible than Q-switch

Wavelength laser beam: 1064nm

Mopa laser pulse width: 2-250nm,

Pulse frequency: 1-1000khz

Q-Switch—- Pulse width and pulse frequency are fixed, can not be changed.

Mopa can do all the Raycus’ work.
Mopa has more advantages than Q-switch laser source, and price is little higher than Q-switch.
*.About the laser type
If you only need to mark on aluminium anodised or powder coated materials as below, fiber laser is
enough.

2.If you need to mark black color on anodised aluminum as , you can consider MOPA laser.Fiber laser can only mark white or gray colors on it, not pure black color.

*About the laser power
If you only need to mark on the surface of the object, 20w is enough.If you also want to have a little depth,30w will be better and its marking speed is faster than 20w. And their prices have no big difference.
