Fiber laser cutting machine has a prominent advantage in the blanking of sheet metal. It relies on the high temperature produced by laser. Melting and irradiating the sheet metal surface. First of all to carbon steel as an example, as shown in the figure below, the maximum speed of 2mm steel using 500W cutting machine is about 6.6 meters per minute. The highest speed 1000W cutting machine is about 8 meters per minute. The maximum speed of 6mm steel using 500W cutting machine is about 0.8 meters per minute. The maximum speed of 1000W the cutting machine is about 1.6 meters per minute, and so on.
Then, with stainless steel as an example, as shown in the figure, the highest speed below 2mm stainless steel using 500W cutting machine is about 8 meters per minute. And the highest speed 1000W cutting machine can reach about 17 meters per minute. About 3mm stainless steel using 500W cutting machine maximum speed of about 0.4 meters per minute. The use of 1000W and the highest speed cutting machine is about 1.4 meters per minute, the gap is very obvious.
Thus, 1000W fiber laser cutting machine is clearly a better choice for 500W and 1000W fiber laser cutting machine.
